Youth Eligible Training Provider List

Background

The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and House Bill (H.B.) 470 require the Local Workforce Investment Board and Local Workforce Policy Board to establish procedure to identify training providers for youth activities. The State is responsible for compiling and distributing a statewide list of the youth training providers eligible to give training services to youth customers using the one-stop delivery system. 

The State is requiring, at a minimum, that the following information be submitted on youth training providers for the statewide list: 

  • Name of youth training provider

  • Type of training/education institution

  • Description of the youth program

  • Cost of the program

  • The areas (county or city, etc.) the program serve
